How do you stand out?
My professional advise to home sellers who want to sell their homes quickly is to fix their home up and get it out there for others to see as soon as you can. The interest rates are down and the buyers are out there and ready to purchase the home that needs the least amount of work and at a great price.
The advantage I have above others when listing homes is that I own a flooring and cabinet store in Louisville. I have painters, hardwood flooring refinishers and carpenters too. I am use to working with a variety of different products that will best suit your home. I have a lot of experience in this area as I also work as a designer out of my store. I love home staging!
Each home is different but the one thing that I have discovered over the years is that using gold colors is the best way to move the house quicker. There is nothing better than the warm feeling that you get when you walk into a freshly painted home. It smells fresh, looks crisp and gives you that warm, fuzzy feeling. I like using a creamy color on the walls because it looks clean. I also like using light browns or beige on the floor because it is also very neutral. The cabinets are usually an oak or maple because they go with almost anything.
